Its been used by top rated surf schools and proven to be effective for learning and advancing. This board includes a number of different new technologies. Nothing on the entire board is glued! Yellowtail II 6’10″ Epoxy Retro Fish Surfboard
The Yellowtail is our most popular model this season. One shop sold theirs within one hour of receiving it. The 6’10″ Twin fin YellowTail II is the epoxy version of the original. The yellowtail has always been the versatile fish. Its extra size makes paddling and catching waves very easy while being short enough to offer good maneuverability. This board is perfect for an intermediate surfer who wants to drop down to a smaller board. Great for those smaller days but still a ton of fun when the waves get bigger. Colored yellowish-orange with gloss polish. Includes 2 removable custom made Future keel-style fins. Now available in both epoxy and standard glass (polyester resin).
Seared Ahi 6’2″ Quad Fin Retro Fish Surfboards (Epoxy)
The 6’2″ Quad Fin Seared Ahi is a great all-around board. 6″ longer than the Grunion, it’s for shortboarders who are bigger or those who want to transition from a longboard/funboard. The Seared Ahi has a great feel, catches waves effortlessly and is extremely maneuverable. Works in knee high slop to overhead+ waves. Perfect for surf trips. If you can only take one board, this one is it. The quad fin setup makes it very versatile and allows you to progress your surfing even more. When you first start out, put the larger pair of fins on the back towards the tail. This will keep it more stable. Once you have the board dialed up, move the larger fins to the front and you’ll feel like you’re riding a whole new, more maneuvarable board!
“The Pivot Fish” – 6’4″ Quad Fin Retro Fish
“The Pivot Fish”, named because of the pivot type turns you get from the board instead of rail to rail, is a quad fin retro fish surfboard… Wide, Stable, and FAST. The ultimate wave catching, quick turning short surfboard. The fish surfboard is a one of the most unique designs when it comes to “wave catch-ability.” This board maintains the width of a mini-longboard, but is much smaller in length. This helps maintain your stability while making it a cinch to paddle for a board this short.Nose V concave to single concave at the tail. Get the best of all worlds with this combination of designs. The “V” will help you turn quickly while the “single” at the tail is designed to channel water off the rails allowing you to generate speed and make some killer cut-backs. The quad fin setup is much quicker and faster than the twin fin setup typical of a “retro” fish so hold on while you race down the line. With either Epoxy EPS or Traditional glass construction you have a surfboard you can’t pass up… Epoxy construction makes this fish surfboard lighter and stronger than a traditional glass construction fish. This makes the surfboard float better, paddle better and virtually indestructible (it’s not really indestructible but pretty close). Traditional glass construction makes this surfboard more responsive than its epoxy counterpart, however it will be more prone to dings… a simple trade off for a purist. The Pivot Fish surfboard is perfect for the intermediate surfer, or someone who wants to move from a long board down to a short board.
Ono 9’3″ Twin Fin Retro Fish Surfboard
“ono” is a Hawaiian word that means delicious or tasty, and also describes a fish with vertical stripes. While the 9:Fish ono sports similar vertical stripes, there is no mistaking that it’s a completely new animal. Its 9’3″ length makes it a true longboard, but its profile, large swallow tail and 2 fins make it a true fish. The combination of these features is a surfboard that catches waves effortlessly and is very easy to turn. Perfect for beginners, intermediates or even accomplished longboarders. The ono can also float very large surfers (it has a 3.25″ EPS core and full, boxy rails), and its exterior is extremely durable. The board is very wide at 24.5″ so it incorporates handles to make it easier to carry under an arm. This board has dual longboard finboxes which are extremely durable and comes with a pair of custom-made fiberglass 7″ longboard fins.
Beluga 5’10″ Quad Fin Round Nose Fish Surfboard (Epoxy)
Our 5’10″ Quad Fin Epoxy Beluga is the perfect combination of paddling ease and performance. It’s short length makes it very maneuverable while it’s width, thickness and extra volume up front makes it a wave catching machine! Wait till you see the surprised look on the longboarders when you catch a wave that they miss. We recommend this board for advance surfers or intermediates who want to drop down to a smaller board but still want to catch lots of waves.
